The speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevaty, on the air of the telethon, announced a large-scale accumulation of forces of the Russian Federation in the area of ​​Kupyansk and Liman. According to him, the group has more than 100 servicemen, 900 tanks and 370 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

"Now a very powerful group is concentrated in the Limano-Kupyansk direction. More than 100 thousand personnel, more than 900 tanks, and 370 MLRS," Cherevaty emphasized during the telethon.

This information is confirmed by the words of the commander of the Ground Forces Alexander Syrsky, who previously noted that the Russian army is conducting a large-scale operation in the Kupyansk region.

The gathering of a significant grouping of troops may indicate preparations for a large-scale counteroffensive, especially since a few hours ago, the Russian troops successfully took the settlement of Novoselovskoye. However, experts doubt that Russia has gathered such a large force on a narrow sector of the front.
